We fight for our king We take this oath We endure and resist within these walls We make the moon bleed to death We blind the sun We´re here to die No prayers were sent No sins to forget We are the swords that bring revenge We fight for our king We take this oath We endure and resist within these walls... Within these walls...

One with these stones To rise and to fall To know the old gods Our stronghold, our walls One with these stones To stand all alone To taste the cold wind and recall the old blood...

about

On its first official edition, Aphlar joint forces with Kazeria (the well known martial-industrial and neoclassical argentinian act), to create a conceptual album.

"In Bolskan" is an epic journey evoking the ancient past of northern Aragón, in the Kingdom of Spain. During a travel to that region, Kazeria conceived the album to express its impressions on archaic traditions and on the great symbolic heritage found there.
Kazeria also found in Aphlar the right partner to reinforce the ideas and visions that they finally put on this record.

The tracks deliver a sophisticated blend of ritual ambient; martial percussions (taken live from the traditional drummers of Huesca; the town once named Bolskan...) and a strong neofolk flavor, due to Aphlar´s guitars and voice. These elements create an evocative and profound atmosphere linked to pre-christian and then later medieval times.
